BREMERTON, Wash. -- A 42-year-old University Place resident arrested Wednesday on suspicion of dealing Oxycodone had more than 200 pills and $219,000 in his home and storage unit, according to the Bremerton Police Department.
According to police, detectives had been investigating the suspect in connection with distributing pain pills for two weeks. In addition to the cash and pills, detectives also found a handgun while serving search warrants.
"I appreciate the ongoing partnership between the Bremerton and Poulsbo Police Departments in reducing the influx of destructive drugs like Oxycodone in our communities," Bremerton Police Chief Steven Strachan said in a press release.
The suspect was booked into Pierce County Jail for investigation of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
