      Police arrest armed man in Capitol Hill after standoff

      SEATTLE -- A man who Seattle police say brandished a gun and made threats before getting in a standoff with officers has been arrested.


      A witness called 911 to report the suspect brandishing the handgun shortly before 1 p.m. Police cornered the man inside the garage near 10th Avenue and East Union until the incident ended about an hour later.


      No shots or injuries have been reported.
