Police: Armed 92-year-old man arrested after firing shots
SEATTLE -- An armed 92-year-old man was arrested Thursday night after allegedly firing off shots in his South Seattle home and threatening to shoot his wife.
According to the Seattle Police Department, officers, responding to a 911 call, arrived at the home in the 6000 block of Gould Avenue South around 10:30 p.m.
The 92-year-old suspect's family came out of the house, and the suspect followed when instructed by officers.
According to police, officers found a pistol in the suspect's pocket and another gun in the house. There was also damage inside the house from where two bullets hit the ceiling.
The suspect was taken to Harborview Medical Center as a precaution for an existing medical condition and was later booked into King County Jail.
