Police: 2 arrested following fatal Tacoma shooting

TACOMA, Wash. - Two men have been arrested in the Friday night shooting of a man in Tacoma, Officer Naveed Benjamin with Tacoma Police said.

The 20-year-old man died at Harborview Medical Center after being shot while in the 2300 Block of Yakima Avenue around 9:15 p.m.

Police say a friend drove the victim to a nearby Jack in the Box where employees called for help.

The shooters fled the scene, but were tracked down by police Saturday morning and booked into jail. They were arrested for investigation of second-degree murder, Officer Benjamin said.

No names have been released, and detectives are investigating what led up to the fatal shooting.
