Police: Man caught burglarizing Seattle food bank
SEATTLE -- A 30-year-old man was arrested Sunday night after officers caught him burglarizing the St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Bank in Georgetown, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to police, officers responded to the food bank in the 5900 block of Fourth Avenue South around 6 p.m. to find the man standing next to a ladder inside the food bank's fenced off yard.
The man admitted to taking some things that didn't belong to him; and officers found tools, propane torches and more stacked up near the ladder, according to police.
The man was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of burglary.
