Pedestrian dies in Lynnwood crash; driver arrested
LYNNWOOD, Wash. -- A pedestrian died after two vehicles struck him in Lynnwood late Thursday night.
One of the drivers was arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide,
The man tried to cross state Route 99 just north of 188th Street Southwest just before 11 p.m. Thursday. There was no crosswalk where the man tried to cross. police said.
A Nissan Altima driven by a man in his 20s hit the pedestrian, police said. A GMC Sierra behind the Nissan also hit the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead. The Nissan driver was arrested.
The driver of the GMC Sierra was not arrested.
