Partial human remains, left possibly for years, found in Cowlitz Co.
COWLITZ COUNTY, Wash. — Sheriff's deputies found partial human remains washed shore on the Columbia River in Woodland on Saturday afternoon.
The body hasn't been identified as female or male, but deputies say it could have been in the water for months, or possibly years.
Officials said there are no obvious signs of foul play, but a coroner and forensic anthropologist will determine how the person died.
The person were wearing Levi blue jeans with a 29-inch waist and 32-inch inseam. Also found with the remains was one Nike shoe, size 8.
