Officials ID man stabbed to death in Tacoma
TACOMA, Wash. -- The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim in a fatal Tacoma stabbing Wednesday as 35-year-old Sheldon Cato.
Tacoma police were called to a report of a stabbing about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of East 68th Street, according to a Tacoma Police Department press release.
When officers arrived, they found the victim in the parking lot with a stab wound.
Police then were able to find a 28-year-old man suspected in the incident and arrested him. He was later booked into jail for investigation of second-degree murder.
Police say the victim and suspect were acquaintances.
The investigation is ongoing.
