Night fights and armed robbery in U-District after dark

SEATTLE -- This Seattle Police Department report is evidence I really have no idea what goes on in this city during the wee hours of the night.

According to the police report for the incident, the victim and her boyfriend were walking home along Northeast 50th Street around 3 a.m. June 14 when they stopped at 17th Avenue Northeast to watch a fight on a church lawn (as you do).

The victim cheered on one of the men, who she knew from somewhere, as he took on three other men.

When the fight ended, the three men drove off in a gold Buick, and the victim tended to the solo fighter's cut lip, treating it with bee's wax. She also asked if he wanted to smoke pot with her, but he declined.

According to the report, the victim and her boyfriend continued on their way home only to be stopped by the same gold Buick a few blocks later.

The driver of the Buick accused the victim of having his phone, and she told him she had no idea what he was talking about, according to the report. That's when the driver reportedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim and her boyfriend.

The victim called 911, and one of the men got out of the Buick and grabbed the phone out of her hand, according to the report. The victim's boyfriend grabbed the phone back.

The driver of the Buick yelled for the man to get back in the car because the police were probably on the way. According to the report, the Buick drove off but not before the man pointed out where the victim lived.

The victim got the Buick's license plate, and officers checked on the registered address with no luck.

The victim told officers she works in the area and knows most of the drug dealers and the vehicles associated with criminal activity. She said she has never seen the men or the Buick before.
