It had been expected to start service on June 15. That was delayed to Tuesday, and spokeswoman Marta Coursey says the latest estimate is early next week.

The Tokitae is destined for the Mukilteo-Clinton route. It's the first of three 144-car ferries being built for the state by the Vigor Industrial shipyard in Seattle for $388 million for all three.
Tokitae is a Salish word meaning "nice day, pretty colors." It's also the name of a Washington orca better known as Lolita at the Miami Sequarium.
