N. Seattle beauty supply store robbed at gunpoint

SEATTLE -- A North Seattle beauty supply store was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning, and officers are still looking for the man responsible.

According to the Seattle Police Department, a man walked into Sally Beauty Supply in the 800 block of Northeast Northgate Way shortly before 9:30 a.m., held a bandanna over his face and showed a gun.

The man demanded money from a female employee at the checkout counter and pressed something hard, possibly the gun, against her back, according to police.

The employee reportedly gave the man money from the register as well as a deposit bag full of receipts from the business' safe. According to police, the man then ordered the employee to the back of the store, where he told her to put her hands behind her back.

At that moment, two customers came into the store, and the man ran off, according to police.

Officers were unable to find the man, and police say there is no description of him at this time.
