Missing Camas mom's body found in Lacamas Creek
CAMAS, Wash. — The body of a missing Camas woman was found near Round Lake Friday afternoon.
Camas Police say a family was hiking when they found a woman's body in The Potholes area. It matches the description of the missing woman, Alisha McRay. Police say there were no obvious signs of foul play.
Alisha McRay was last seen Wednesday morning dropping off her kids at school. Her family reported her missing when she failed to pick them up from the bus stop, which is out of character for her.
Her car was found parked at Lacamas Park off NE Everett Street.
The Portland Police Bureau's Air Unit and Clark County Search and Rescue crews searched the area in and around Lacamas Park extensively. Friday morning, family and friends continued the search on their own.
Foul play is not suspected, though a medical examiner will rule what the cause of her death was.
