Mill Creek police received a call on April 29 about suspicious activity around a storage facility in the 16600 block of the Bothell-Everett Highway. The caller thought someone might be selling drugs and wanted officers to check it out, according to police.
When police looked into the matter, they learned the storage facility was being rented by a 34-year-old Monroe man and a 34-year-old Bothell woman. The man, who has not been identified, had an outstanding $100,000 felony warrant for his arrest for weapons and narcotics violations, according to police.
Officers drove to the storage facility and, after a brief pursuit, caught and arrested the man.
Once in custody, police got a search warrant for the storage facility. Inside they found 46 guns, including 31 that had been reported stolen. They also found other items that had been reported stolen in local burglaries.
The man was booked into Snohomish County Jail for the outstanding warrant. He was later charged with 46 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and 31 counts of possession of a stolen firearm.
