Marysville student arrested for threatening to shoot other students

MARYSVILLE, Wash. -- A Marysville Mountain View High School student was arrested Wednesday for threatening to shoot other students, according to the Marysville Police Department.

Police got word around 7 a.m. there was a student with a handgun threatening to shoot students on a Marysville school bus.

Officers stopped the bus as it was entering the Marysville Pilchuck High School campus but the 15-year-old student had already gotten off the bus at Mountain View.

The student was arrested a short time later and booked into Denny Juvenile Justice Center for investigation of felony harassment. According to police, the student had a cap gun that strongly resembled an actual revolver.

Marysville Pilchuck High School was briefly on lockdown due to the incident.
