Man shot in South Hill, taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries


PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. -- A 34-year-old man reportedly showed up at a neighbor's house Saturday morning in South Hill with a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred about 11:40 a.m. Saturday on the 24100 block of 145th Street East in South Hill.

The victim was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma and his injuries are non-life threatening, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The shooting is unrelated to an earlier shooting Saturday in Parkland.
