Man found with stab wounds in Kent restaurant parking lot

KENT, Wash. - Police are trying to figure out who stabbed a man who staggered into a Taco Time parking lot in Kent and collapsed.

Officers and medics responded to the scene, in the 1300 block of West Meeker Street, just after 1 a.m. Wednesday after receiving an anonymous call about an injured man needing help.

When police arrived, they found a man in the parking lot who was bleeding from stab wounds to his torso and ribs. He was still conscious as medics rushed him to Harborview Medical Center, where his condition was not immediately available.

The Taco Time restaurant was closed at the time of the stabbing, so there were no employee or customer witnesses who saw what happened.

The incident remains under investigation.
