Man dies after overnight shooting in Seattle's Brighton area
SEATTLE - Homicide detectives are investigating after a shooting in the Brighton area of Seattle left a men dead, police said.
The incident unfolded at about 8 p.m. Sunday when officers responded to a report that a gunshot victim had been brought to Harborview Medical Center by car.
Officers learned from witnesses that the victim, an adult male, had been a passenger in a car traveling near Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. and S. Othello Street. An unknown suspect shot at the car and wounded the man.
He later died of his injuries and was pronounced dead at Harborview Medical Center.
