SEATTLE -- A short video posted to YouTube Sunday night shows a man walking alongside a row of cars parked in downtown Seattle and methodically smashing each one with a metal bar.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the 44-year-old suspect damaged nine parked cars and broke out two business windows in the Pike/Pine corridor before officers arrested him while he tried to swing at a coffee shop's sign.
All told, the suspect caused more than $5,000 in damage, according to police.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail and could face felony malicious mischief charges. His 5-foot-long, red metal bar was placed into evidence.
