Standoff ends peacefully after man barricaded himself in inside Snoqualmie home

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. - A standoff at a home in Snoqualmie ended peacefully Friday night, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to the home in the 7500 block of Northfork Road SE just after 4 p.m.

The Sheriff's Office said when deputies arrived, a 41-year-old man was barricaded inside the home, with his mother. Deputies were able to get the woman out of the home safely, but the man has refused to come out.

The Sheriff's Office said a negotiator and SWAT team were called to the scene. The man surrendered peacefully around 8 p.m.
