Man attacked by masked suspects with stun gun in Lake City

SEATTLE - A man was attacked by two men armed with a stun gun as he was walking through a Lake City neighborhood, police said.

The incident began Tuesday morning as the victim was walking in the 12500 block of 27th Avenue NE. He heard footsteps approaching behind him, and then a man yelled, "Get off my block!"

The victim turned and saw two masked men, one of whom was carrying a stun gun. The victim tried to hide behind a car, but the two suspects approached him and shocked him with the stun gun.

The victim tried to flee but he tripped and fell in the intersection, where he was shocked twice more by the suspects.

The suspects fled the scene after the attack and the victim called 911.

Officers and a police dog searched the area for the suspects - described as light-skinned men in their mid-20s, standing 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-9-inches and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. Both were wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts and bandannas over their faces.

Police weren't able to find the pair and the search was ended. The victim was not seriously injured in the attack.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
