Man arrested in death of 2-year-old SeaTac boy
SEATAC, Wash. -- Police have arrested a 24-year-old Renton man in the death of a 2-year-old boy.
The man is the boyfriend of the child's mother. the King County Sheriff's Office says, and was caring for the boy when he died.
Medics went to the Willow Lake Apartments in the 3000 block of South 208th Street in SeaTac about 1 p.m. Sunday after getting a report about a 2-year-old who wasn't breathing.
Medics could not resuscitate the boy, who was declared dead. Sheriff's detectives responded.
The Sheriff's Office the detectives learned the boy's mother had gone to work and left her son in her boyfriend's care.
The man was arrested Wednesday night and booked into jail.
The SeaTac Police Department contracts with the Sheriff's Office to provide police services.
