Man arrested in connection to up to 3 West Seattle robberies
SEATTLE -- Officers arrested a man Monday night in connection with up to three West Seattle robberies that have been reported over the past two days.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the victim was outside the Westwood Village QFC around 11:30 p.m. Monday when six to eight men and women asked for the time then attacked him and took his phone.
Officers arrived and found four suspects a mile and a half away. According to police, the victim pointed out an adult man and a juvenile girl who were involved in the robbery.
The man was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of robbery. The girl was interviewed and released to her mother.
While officers were unable to find the victim's phone, they did find a number of credit cards near the scene of the robbery. At least one of the cards belonged to the victim of a robbery reported earlier Monday night near the West Seattle Junction.
Police are investigating a possible connection between those two robberies Monday night, as well as a third robbery Sunday night in West Seattle.
