Man arrested for allegedly firing shots from moving car

SEATTLE -- Reports of two men driving around Lake City firing shots from the passenger side of their car led to the arrest of one man for investigation of multiple weapons violations Tuesday night.

According to the Seattle Police Department, witnesses called to report the men just before 10 p.m., and officers caught up with them at Northeast 50th Street and 17th Avenue Northeast.

The passenger was booked into King County Jail for investigation of reckless endangerment, discharging a firearm and unlawful carrying or handling weapons. The driver was interviewed and released.

While there were no reports of injuries or property damage, officers found shell casings near 25th Avenue Northeast and Ravenna Avenue Northeast, according to police.
