Man arrested after bringing nearly 31 pounds of meth to undercover cops
CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. —
A Clackamas County man was arrested on various charges after delivering nearly 31 pounds of methamphetamine to an undercover investigator.
Deputies say they vegan investigating Eligio Jose Baltier-Carranza back in February, when they identified him as one of the more prolific drug distributors in the area. Investigators posed as drug traffickers and arranged to meet up with Baltier-Carranza earlier this month.
Baltier-Carranza allegedly brought 14 kilograms of methamphetamine worth about $19,000 to the meeting and was arrested shortly after.
He's facing delivery of a controlled substance charges, along with several warrants.
