Firefighters pull teen boy's body from Kent's Lake Meridian

KENT, Wash. - Firefighters were called to Lake Meridian Park Friday evening after reports of a possible drowning.

According to Kent Fire, the call came in around 5:30 p.m. at the park located on SE 272nd St. in Kent.

When firefighters arrived, they located a teen boy about nine feet below the water's surface. They don't know how long he'd been under the water.

Crews performed CPR and were able to get a pulse.

The teen was taken to a nearby hospital. No word on his condition.
