Judge finalizes divorce between Kaine and Terri Horman

PORTLAND, Ore. - A judge signed the paperwork finalizing the divorce of Kaine and Terri Horman on Tuesday.

The move is the latest development in the ongoing legal wrangling between the father and stepmother of Kyron Horman, who disappeared from his Northwest Portland elementary school in June 2010.

According to court documents, the issue of legal custody of the couple's daughter, Kiara, and parenting time with her will be resolved at a later time.

The court documents say Terri has to pay $224 a month in child support for Kiara. She will be able to keep her Ford Mustang.

Kaine gets to keep the couple's Northwest Portland home, his Ford pickup truck and John Deere tractor.

The next court hearing is scheduled for Feb. 12.

Earlier this month, Terri's lawyers asked the judge for an emergency hearing to discuss allegations made by a landscaper who claims she tried to hire him to kill Kaine.

His attorneys argue the landscaper's allegations mean that Terri should not be allowed to spend time with their daughter, who is now 4 years old.
