Housekeeper says employer stiffed her then choked her
SEATTLE -- A housekeeper claims her employer assaulted her after he refused to pay her and accused her of stealing his drugs, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to the police report for the incident, the victim -- who says she has been a housekeeper at the Delridge residence for the past year -- performed her housekeeping duties sometime before 6:15 a.m. Dec. 27, but her employer refused to pay her.
She did not call police at the time to report her employer stiffing her and stayed at the residence while her employer fell asleep, according to the report.
The victim later told officers her employer woke up an unknown amount of time later and accused her of stealing his drugs.
She said he choked her several times before she was able to run out of the residence and call 911.
According to the report, officers arrived and contacted the victim, who did not have any physical signs of being choked.
The victim didn't know the address of her employer but was able to describe the residence to officers. Officers were able to find the residence, but no one answered their knocks.
