Have you seen this suspected armed Walmart shoplifter?

SPANAWAY, Wash. -- The Pierce County Sheriff's Office is looking for the man suspected of pulling a knife on a Walmart employee while shoplifting at the Spanaway store.

According to Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County, the suspect hid some items under his jacket around 3 a.m. March 20 and ran out of the store when he was confronted by Walmart security.

Security staff caught up with the suspect in the parking lot, where he hit one employee with a closed folding knife multiple times, according to Crime Stoppers.

The suspect, who couldn't get the knife open, reportedly said he had a gun before running off.
