Have you seen man suspected of robbing store twice in 3 days?
TACOMA, Wash. -- The Tacoma Police Department is looking for a man suspected of robbing a local convenience store at knifepoint twice in three days.
According to Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County, the suspect used a large knife to rob the 72nd Street Deli & Market in the 700 block of South 72nd Street around 10:30 p.m. July 17, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Two days later, the same suspect reportedly returned and tried to do it all again. This time, the clerk swung a stool at the man, who was nonetheless able to get away with cash, according to Crime Stoppers.
The suspect may have reportedly gotten the money, but the clerk got the last laugh, whacking the suspect with a garden hoe as he ran off.
