Girl stabs teen repeatedly outside Cascade Mall, flees
BURLINGTON, Wash. - Police say a teenage girl stabbed another teen several times outside the Cascade Mall Friday night.
The victim was found outside the entrance to a Chuck E. Cheese entertainment center across the street with three stab wounds, Troy Hofkamp with the Burlington Police Department says.
The teen is in stable condition and is recovering at a local hospital.
Police responded to the mall a bit after 8 p.m. They say the suspect has been identified but fled the scene before officers arrived. She is still at large.
Hofkamp says they don't know what led up to the stabbing. The relationship between the two girls is unclear.
No other injuries were reported. Detectives are investigating.
