Highway 3 reopens in Kitsap County after deadly crash
POULSBO, Wash -- A 65-year-old Port Angles man was killed Tuesday morning when the van he was driving crossed the centerline and was hit by a semi-truck, the Washington State Patrol said.
They crash closed all lanes of State Route 3 at Lofall Road north of Poulsbo for more than four hours on Tuesday morning.
The Washington State Patrol says three vehicles crashed about 6:40 a.m. near the Pioneer Way intersection, a few miles south of the Hood Canal Bridge.
The roadway was reopened around 11 a.m.
After the van hit the truck, the van was pushed into the northbound lanes of traffic, where a car hit it.
The driver of the semi-truck and car suffered only only minor injuries.
