Driver killed in Burlington of apparent hit-and-run
BURLIINGTON, Wash. -- A 44-year-old Burlington man was found dead along Interstate 5 on Wednesday night, and he may have been the victim of a hit-and-run crash.
A Washington State Patrol trooper went to a report of a disabled vehicle on the ramp to northbound I-5 from George Hooper Road.
A passenger in the car told troopers that the driver had been hit by another vehicle. The driver was dead.
The State Patrol says the vehicle that hit him was not on the scene.
