The incident began at about 1:35 a.m. when a Washington State Patrol trooper tried to pull over a speeding Cadillac on I-5. The driver of the Cadillac sped off, then took the 85th Street exit and headed west.
The trooper ended the pursuit at that point, but a few minutes later a trooper discovered the Cadillac crashed into a parked Mini-Cooper in a residential area.
Witnesses at the scene said the driver of the Cadillac and a passenger both fled on foot.
A search for the suspects was unsuccessful, and police are trying to track them down.
