Do you recognize this suspected gun thief?

PUYALLUP, Wash. - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of stealing a gun from a store display case last week.

The suspect broke into a glass display case and stole a handgun from the downtown Puyallup Fred Meyer store on Thursday, police said.

The break-in was captured on store surveillance video.

The suspect appears to be a white male in his 20s, with collar-length shaggy brown hair and a beard, wearing a gray shirt, black shorts, tan shoes (skater style) with white laces and white soles. He was carrying a red-and-black backpack with a white logo at the top.

The suspect arrived and left on a mountain bike.
