Deputies: Man shot dead by girlfriend at Vancouver-area home
VANCOUVER, Wash. - A man was shot and killed by his girlfriend in his Hazel Dell home Tuesday night, Clark County sheriff's deputies said.
Investigators said Scott M. Grossman, 44, was shot and killed by his girlfriend in a domestic homicide.
Deputies were called to 201 N.W. 94th St. at 11 p.m. to investigate a report of shots fired. They were told a person was injured, but they found Grossman dead inside the home.
Grossman's girlfriend has not been arrested. Deputies say she is cooperating with the investigation. Her name has not been released.
A neighbor named Ed told KATU's Mary Loos that he heard Grossman come home Tuesday night on his Harley Davidson motorcycle around 11 p.m. He did not hear any gunshots and has never seen or heard any arguments between Grossman and his girlfriend in the past.
Sheriffs deputies confirmed there have been no previous calls to them regarding domestic violence at the residence.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
