Crews rescue injured Snohomish County hiker

GRANITE FALLS, Wash. – A hiker who dislocated his ankle was rescued from the Lime Kiln Trail on Thursday afternoon.

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office says it search and rescue unit and volunteers from Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue were involved. Those crews and firefighters put the man in his 50s in a wheeled litter and got him out on a logging road. He was then taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.

The rescue operation took four hours.
