Crews pull dead man from Lake Union
SEATTLE - Police and fire crews pulled a dead man's body out of Lake Union Friday afternoon.
Police responded around 12:30 p.m. to the 2500 block of Westlake Avenue North, Mark Jamieson with the Seattle Police Department says.
Jamieson says the death does not appear to be suspicious. It's not clear how the body got there or how long it's been there.
Authorities have not released an age estimate.
The body will be turned over to the Medical Examiner's Office for formal identification, Jamieson says.
The man's family will be notified before his identity is released to the public.
Seattle Fire assisted with the recovery. No additional details have been released.
