Chick-fil-A to open 3 restaurants in Puget Sound region

BELLEVUE, Wash. - Chick-fil-A has announced they will be opening three restaurants in the Puget Sound region, starting next spring.

Construction is set to begin next month for the fast food chicken sandwich restaurant in Bellevue at 649 116th Ave NE with a targeted opening date of March 2015, a company spokesperson told KOMO News.

In October, construction will also begin for restaurants in Lynnwood and Tacoma, both also scheduled to open in March.

Two years ago, Chick-fil-A was at the center of the gay marriage debate when its president publically stated he was against gay marriage and had donated to groups opposing gay marriage. However, the company later announced those donations would be stopped.
