Charge: Portland man sexually assaulting uncle, grandma

PORTLAND, Ore. - Police arrested a registered sex offender they say sexually assaulted his own 82-year-old grandmother and 49-year-old uncle earlier this week.

Willie Andre Johnson, who also goes by Aundre Willie Johnson, was booked on charges of first-degree attempted rape, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, two counts of first-degree sex abuse, first-degree kidnapping and fourth-degree assault.

Police were called to a house in North Portland's Piedmont neighborhood Tuesday night around 10. Johnson's uncle and grandmother said he ran out of the house after the assaults.

Police brought in a K-9, but couldn't find him. The next morning, the family called back to say Johnson was at the McDonald's on N.E. Grand and Weidler. They arrested him there, but Johnson complained of medical issues and was sent to the hospital until Thursday afternoon, when he was booked into jail.

Johnson's grandmother was treated at a hospital.

Johnson's sex-offender status stems from a first-degree rape conviction. He will be arraigned Monday in Multnomah County Court.
