Car crashes into front of West Seattle pet store

SEATTLE -- Luckily no one was hurt when a car crashed into the front of a pet store in West Seattle Saturday afternoon.

Fire officials say it was just before 3 p.m. when the driver of a car went through the front glass plate window of the West Seattle Pet Pros store on 25th Ave. SW.

"People were running to her (the driver) and a nice bystander was helping the gal in the driver's seat," a witness told KOMO News. "But there was glass everywhere, it was pretty amazing."

Firefighters determined there was no major structural damage to the building and Seattle police are investigating the cause of the crash.
