Burglar steals makeup, laptops while sorority members sleep

SEATTLE -- Someone entered a University of Washington sorority last night, making off with makeup and two laptops, while sorority members slept, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, the burglar or burglars entered the sorority in the 4500 block of 17th Avenue Northeast sometime between 11:24 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

"My computer was gone," said Connor Christensen. "I had my iPod with it; my backpack was gone."

The laptops and makeup were taken from a basement TV and study room. According to police, it does not appear the burglar or burglars entered any of the sorority members' rooms upstairs.

Officers were unable to find any sign of forced entry.

Still not as creepy as the panty-raid scheme from "Revenge of the Nerds."
