Bothell courthouse reopens after bomb squad gives 'all clear'
BOTHELL, Wash. - The city of Bothell's Municipal Court has reopened after a device in a nearby trailer was found to be no threat, officials said.
The courthouse was initially closed down earlier Thursday after the device was found by police as they executed a search warrant on the U-Haul trailer. The trailer was parked in a secure area of the Bothell Police Department parking lot across from the courthouse.
Officers also found a bag full of tools during their search of the trailer.
A bomb squad was dispatched to the scene, and they determined that the device was safe and not a bomb.
