Bicyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run collision
SEATTLE -- A bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries Thursday night after he was found lying bloody in a Harbor Island street following a hit-and-run collision, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to police, the cyclist was likely riding westbound along Southwest Spokane Street when he was hit.
Witnesses found the cyclist around 8:20 p.m. near 11th Avenue Southwest and Spokane Street and called 911. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police are investigating and hoping to find the driver involved in the collision.
