Over 4,700 pot plants, at least 20 guns seized from Port Orchard home
PORT ORCHARD, Wash. - Authorities seized more then 4,700 marijuana plants and at least 20 guns from a Port Orchard home Friday afternoon.
Detectives from the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office, the Special Investigations Unit, the West Sound Enforcement Team and the Kitsap County SWAT team swarmed the house, in the 12700 block of Bear Track Lane Southwest, and arrested a 56-year-old man.
The man was booked into the Kitsap County Correctional facility, the Sheriff's Office said.
The seized marijuana has an estimated street value of over four million dollars. The type of firearms recovered at the scene are unclear.
