20 pounds of drugs, $14K in cash recovered from suspected dealer's car in Shoreline

SHORELINE, Wash. - More than 20 pounds of drugs and $14,000 in cash were recovered from a suspected drug dealer's car in Shoreline on Wednesday, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

A police K9 helped sniff out the vehicle and the drugs. Detectives then served a search warrant on the vehicle, which they say had been operating out of the Shoreline area.

Inside they found $14,000 in cash, along with 20 pounds of cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine with a street value about $250,000.

The sheriff's office said the search came after a several months of investigating.
