The two companies - Community Health Plan of Washington and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan - were originally rejected for the Healthplanfinder because they didn't meet all the federal rules.
Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler says his office has worked closely with the two companies to fix their proposals and now they meet all the requirements. The Community Health Plan had set different rates for different doctors and has fixed that. Kaiser had to make its rate information more complete.
Two other companies are still working through the appeal process.
The board for the state health exchange plans to vote next Wednesday on the plans that have been approved by the insurance commissioner.
The first open enrollment period for people who need to buy health insurance begins Oct. 1.
