2 men shot during overnight disturbance in Kent

KENT, Wash. - Two men were shot in the leg during a disturbance late Wednesday in Kent, police said.

The incident unfolded at about 10 p.m. when three men got into a dispute in the 11000 block of SE 271st Street in Kent, in a residential area near a Target store, said Cmdr. Jarod Kasner of the Kent police.

During the dispute, two of the men were shot in the leg. Police and medics responded, and the two victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The third man was being held for questioning.

The names and ages of the three men were not immediately available.
