Video: Authorities unable to catch 2 black bears in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, Wash. -- Authorities were on the lookout attempting to catch a mother and cub who were reported roaming Tuesday afternoon in the Alderwood area of Lynnwood, police say.

The State Department of Fish and Wildlife along with police assistance were unable to catch the two black bears. The mother bear was last seen in the woods west of Larch Way.

With whereabouts unknown, police are asking people to call 911 if they spot the bears.

The bears were first spotted near the 2900 block of 196 Street Southwest and then moved to the area of 204th Street Southwest; west of Poplar.
