The incident unfolded at about 4 a.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of South 176th Street in SeaTac, said Sgt. Cindi West of the King County Sheriff's Office.
The victim said he was sleeping in his bedroom when someone started shooting through his window. He was stuck once in the abdomen.
The man then went to a neighbor's apartment and asked them to call 911.
When police arrived they found numerous bullet holes in the bedroom window and inside the house. A search was conducted with K-9 police dog, but the suspect was not located.
The victim was taken to Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police do not have a suspect description at this time and do not believe the shooting was random.
