1 dead, 1 wounded in shooting in Eastlake alley

Police have arrested two people thought to be responsible for Monday's Eastlake shooting. The men, both in their 20s, were arrested Monday morning and booked into King County Jail.

SEATTLE -- A man is dead and another was wounded in a shooting in Seattle's Eastlake neighborhood Monday morning.

Investigators say three men were in a car that had parked in the alley behind the Eastlake Market just after midnight.

One man ran inside, but while the other two waited in the car, another man then walked up to them, pulled out a gun and fired several shots, killing one man and wounding the other in the arm.

Police say several cars then sped away from the scene and the gunman is still on the run.

The wounded man was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Detectives are still investigating the motive behind the shooting.
